La Source is a beautiful domain, situated in the valley of Les Labadous just south of the village of Rennes-le-Chateau. This village, in the foothills of the French Pyrenees, is know worldwide for its magic, mysteries and treasures. The bestsellers ‘The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail’ as well as ‘The Da Vinci Code’ are all based on the secrets and mysteries of this hilltop village.

La Source consists of three big buildings on 8.000 square meters of land, including a large hardened parking place and a water well.

The River of Colours flows along the domain and it is bordered by huge black poplar trees. It is a special place. A spiritual  centre, with a wonderful, healing energy. And a beautiful garden.

The big building has a large hall with a huge open fireplace. The room can easily seat 80 people.  There is a lovely, open veranda, two separate toilets, five rooms all with shower and toilet and two large apartments, each with toilet, shower and kitchen.  Four rooms have double beds, one room a single bed. The apartments can house up to six persons each.

The grange consists of five apartments all with shower, toilet and kitchen. They can house up to four persons each.

Then there is a square building with a large professional kitchen, a bathroom with bath and shower, a toilet, a large upper floor, a bedroom and a large space with a nice open fireplace, that is used as restaurant. A place where 50 people can be seated. The building is surrounded by an open veranda.

La Source is owned by a Dutch couple, who have, during the past 13 years, extensively renovated and improved their property. There are two septic tanks and a large gas tank, all situated under the ground. The grange and big house have central heating, the square house has electrical heating and a huge woodburner.

La Source has been used during the past 13 years as Chambre d’Hotes and Gites. Many people from all over the world have stayed at la Source.
