IMPORTANT: Joomla 5 Upgrade of your site

A reminder for some clients that have not yet responded to our newsletter concerning migration to Joomla 5. We need your response so we can schedule the work to be done soonest. Thank you!

We like to inform you that it is time for your site to be upgraded to the latest and new Joomla, version 5. This upgrade is done for us by our team in India to reduce cost for you, as this upgrade is a) major and b) is not part of normal software maintenance. Most of you have sites that have been online for over 5 years and more and most developers say that a site should be upgraded due to look-and-feel, components no longer supported or the operating content system outdated after 3 years.

So far we have upgraded 3 complex site with success.

We have made sure for a long time the site is updated and functionally guaranteed, but now it is time for choices that you need to adress. Also, aside from Joomla. some suppliers of software used have stopped development all together and are used by your site. To name a few: Joomlashine, Bowthemes and others. For the functionality used we will upgrade site with other functionality for templates, sliders, forms and the like.

We advise an upgrade to Joomla 5, but you have more choices, being:

1.    Upgrade Joomla 5. Cost is 400-600 dollar. Do let us know if you like to do this, so we can start project, We will send you an invoice and once payment is received we shall commence the work. Work is approx 1-2 weeks.

2.    Do not upgrade Joomla. This is at your own risk as not all softwares will/can be updated, if not Joomla 3 compatible. And at some point in time the site may no longer function.

3.    Re-built site in Wordpress, costs are like a new site and will be priced based on current functionality of the site. Let us know if you choose this option to give you the price for the re-built.
